Pink Floyd began recording their debut album at EMI Studios (later known as Abbey Road Studios), near the St. John’s Wood in London. The released disc was called The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn. At the same time, The Beatles were working on the song Fixing A Hole for their album Sgt. Pepper Lonely Club Heart Band.
